Charger SXT AWD (Chrysler 300C)
NextUp to 2008 - Magna Steyr MS140 transfer box with Full time all wheel drive, 38/62 torque split front to rear.
From 2009 and on - Borg-Warner 44-40 transfer box with automatic all wheel drive. Normally rear wheel drive. Front wheels are engaged and up to 38% of torque is sent to the front wheels when one of the following conditions occur:
- when rear wheels spin
- when wipers are constantly on
- when outside air temperature is below 0C (32F)
- transmission in the autostick mode (paddle-shifter mode)
- TCS off

Top Do you own Dodge Power Wagon W150 4X4 1977? Can you please make a photo of the car's 4x4 transmission, switches, dashboard lights, etc. and send it to ?
The temperature condition is incorrect. The manual on my 2013 Dodge Charger SXT AWD states that AWD will engage on temperatures below 38F. I can confirm this is true as of this last winter.
